Growing up, Bingham dreamed of entering the healthcare field and following in her grandfather’s footsteps, so she enrolled in the Healthcare Management program at UMO at RTP following several setbacks. Why is the CACREP accreditation important?

CACREP accreditation ensures that students are receiving a quality education that meets the highest standards for counselor education programs and have the required skills to enter the clinical mental health counseling profession.

Graduating from a CACREP accredited program ensures you are license eligible in most states and U.S. territories.

To practice within the state of North Carolina, you must hold a degree from a CACREP-accredited institution.
