Sara Bingham of Brookfield, CT, believes her journey to graduate has been one of faith and perseverance. Growing up, Bingham dreamed of entering the healthcare field and following in her grandfather’s footsteps, so she enrolled in the Healthcare Management program at UMO at RTP following several setbacks. Bingham has gained valuable time management and multitasking skills which are very beneficial in her job as a patient coordinator at One Eighty Counseling in Garner and Cary.

To prepare students for this rapidly developing and in-demand profession, the University of Mount Olive introduces its newest degree program in Cybersecurity and Applied Computer Science program. Students will learn cutting-edge tactics of preventing cybersecurity breaches by understanding how to manage digital data, analytics, tactics, server administration, and advanced strategies. The program embraces a practical and applied approach to computer science, aligning with the foundational aspects of business, creating a valuable skillset.
